Children

Children have a special part to play in the church family at St John’s. We want children here to know that they are part of God’s family. Each child is valuable and we love welcoming new families into St John’s. Our 10am services are a great place for adults and children to come and be all together as we learn from each other. Sunday School is an exciting place where we learn together what it means to follow Jesus. In all the children’s work we do, we want to be ‘Growing Together – playing our part in God’s plan’.

Groups

Sunday School is for children in Pre-School all the way up to P7 to come together during the 10am service at St John’s. In Sunday school we explore a variety of bible stories through craft, games and teaching.

Our Vision for Sunday school is to see our children grow and flourish in their walk with Jesus. We want to encourage children to own their faith and stand boldly in the knowledge that they are loved by the God of the Universe. We want to equip our children with the stories and wisdom from scripture so that they may carry that with them through all life’s journeys.

At St John’s we take the safety of our children seriously – you can find out more about our Safeguarding Policy here.
All Children attending Sunday School must be registered. Click the Button below to register your child.
